Margaret McCarthy and her husband Jim Ricci were participants in the 2008 University of Massachusetts Summer Program at Hokkaido University.  In Sapporo, they joined students from Noble and Greenough in Dedham at a luncheon hosted by HOMAS, the Hokkaido Massachusetts Society.  Masafumi Nakagaki is Director General of HOMAS.
